Summer Park Program

2024 Summer Park Activities Schedule 

We're glad your here! **ALL EVENTS ARE FREE**

 

To ensure a fun and respectful experience for everyone, please adhere to the following guidelines:

General Guidelines

  1.        First Come, First Serve: Participation is based on a first come, first serve basis. Arrive early to secure spot and materials
  2.        Respect the Space: Please respect the park grounds. Use trash bins for any waste and leave the area as clean as you found it.
  3.        Respect Others: Be considerate of fellow participants and park visitors. Maintain a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
  4.        Supervise Children: Parents and caregivers are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
  5.        Art Supplies: Art supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Share materials generously and handle them with care.
  6.        Stay Safe: Be mindful of your surroundings and avoid obstructing walkways.

 

Event-Specific Rules

  1.        Check-In Process: Upon arrival, Sign-In with the QR code at the registration table
  2.        Respect Art Areas: Designated art areas will be marked. Please create your artwork within these spaces.
  3.        Noise Levels: Keep noise to a minimum to maintain a peaceful environment. Use indoor voices and avoid disruptive behavior.
  4.        Respect Artwork: Appreciate the creativity of others. Do not touch or alter someone else’s artwork without permission.
  5.        Follow Instructions: Listen to and follow instructions given by event staff. They are here to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
  6.        Health and Safety: If you or your child feel unwell, please stay home to prevent spreading illness. Follow any posted health guidelines.

 

Community Guidelines

 

Inclusivity: We celebrate diversity and welcome everyone. Treat all participants with kindness and respect.

Collaboration: Encourage collaborative projects

Feedback: Share positive and constructive feedback. 

Conflict Resolution: In case of disagreements, seek assistance from event staff. We aim to resolve conflicts peacefully and fairly.

Respect Timings: Adhere to event timings to ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate. Follow start and end times as scheduled.

Different themes each week, craft and supplies offered for families. Certain days have special events, make sure you look for them!

Puppet Show

Join us for OpenEye Theatre's Driveway Tour Puppet Show!

 

Molly is excited to spend a whole week at Grandma's farm, but events on the journey there leave her without her gadgets. With the help of a Magic Boot and a cast of new farm friends, Molly's time with Grandma becomes a summer to remember.

Cruisin' in the park

Children have the opportunity to follow cones around clockwise in the hockey rink on WOOM bikes / ride-on's supplied by OPH. Helmets supplied.
