Utility Billing Rates

WATER, SEWER, AND STORMWATER

 he following are the water rates effective January 1, 2026:
 
A quarterly minimum charge of $51.59 for the first 15,000 gallons of water used per quarter.
+ A rate of $4.43 per 1,000 gallons of water used above 15,000 gallons up to 50,000 gallons.
+ A rate of $5.13 per 1,000 gallons of water used above 50,000 gallons up to 99,000 gallons.
+ A rate of $6.35 per 1,000 gallons of water used above 99,000 gallons up to 200,000 gallons.
+ A rate of $7.51 per 1,000 gallons of water used above 200,000 gallons.
 
Sewer rates:
A quarterly minimum charge of $89.61 for the first 15,000 gallons of water used per quarter.
+ A rate of $6.47 per 1,000 gallons of water used above 15,000 gallons up to 50,000 gallons.
+ A rate of $6.75 per 1,000 gallons of water used above 50,000 gallons.
  
Stormwater rates:
Residential: $4.59 per quarter per unit (up to four units).
Vacant Land: $2.04 per unit per quarter.
Developed Commercial, Industrial & High Density Residential: $33.66 per acre per quarter.
Undeveloped Commercial, Industrial & High Density Residential: $5.10 per acre per quarter.
 

GARBAGE

Effective January 1, 2008, the City began covering the fees for basic residential coverage.  There is a charge of $16.64 per quarter for a large garbage container. There is no charge for a small or medium garbage container. Recycling containers are free. Should you have extra items beyond what can fit in your container, the fee is $4.00 per additional bag of waste and a per item charge for large or bulky items.
